You might not know much about Kutki. It is a herb. Many good and important things have been explained in detail about Kutki in Ayurveda. Kutki is used to treat diseases. For years, Ayurvedacharyas have been using Kutki to cure patients. According to Patanjali, Kutki is an herb that is easy to digest, cures the problem of bile and phlegm and increases appetite. It is also beneficial in fever, typhoid, TB, piles, pain, diabetes etc. Along with this, Kutki also helps in diseases like respiratory diseases (shortness of breath or swelling), dry cough, impurity of blood, body irritation, stomach worms, obesity, cold etc.

Use of Kutki can also cause these disadvantages:- Use of Kutki can cause irritation in the skin. Due to cucurbitacin present in it, problem of dysentery and stomach gas can occur. Along with this, fever can also occur due to chills. Powder of Kutki – 0.5-1 gram (normal quantity) To clean the stomach – 3-6 grams (for purgative) To get full benefit of Kutki as a medicine, take medically Do take counselling.
