What is Pavand?
Generally Chakramard is 30-120 cm high, odorous, rainy season herbaceous shrub. Its branches and branches are hairy. Its leaves are compound, 6-12.5 cm long, of pinnate nature. Its leaves are smooth, odorous in pairs of three. Its flowers are yellow, small, engaged in a pair of 2-2. Its pods are 15-25 cm long, 4-6 mm wide, thin, four-angled, somewhat twisted and the front part is pointed. Each pod contains 25-30, quadrangular, brown or green colored, fenugreek-like, lined seeds. Its flowering period is from July to September and fruit period is from August to November.
Medicinal properties of pawand
relieve migraines
Grind 20-25 grams of Chakramard seeds in kanji and apply it on the forehead, it provides relief from migraine pain.
Mixing equal quantity of Chakramard, Turmeric, Daruhaldi, Pepper and Kuth in lemon juice and applying it on the eyes is beneficial in eye diseases.
Goitre / scrofula in pain

Grinding 10-20 grams of the root of pawad in lemon juice and applying it is beneficial in goiter.
Mixing alum and rock salt in 10-12 leaves of Panwad, grinding it with little water, making a lukewarm cake and tying it on the knots of scrofula is beneficial.
controlling diabetes or diabetes
To reduce the sugar in the blood, taking 10 grams of the roots of pawpaw, cooking it in 400 ml water, making a decoction of the remaining quarter and consuming it in 20-30 ml quantity is beneficial.
from back pain
Grinding 2-4 grams of roasted seeds of Panwad, mixing sugar, jaggery etc. sweet and a little ghee in it, making laddoos and eating it provides relief in back pain.

Soaking 50 grams of pawand seed powder in 1 liter of cow's whey for 3 days cures itching, itching, freckles or pigmentation etc.
in the treatment of leprosy
