identity of Aparajita
It is a perennial creeper. It is of two types. One white, the other blue. The vine of blue flowers is also of two types. One has single flowers and the other has double flowers. Its leaves are similar to the leaves of Ban Moong, but a little bigger than them and 7-7 are found on one sinkh.
The shape of its flower is similar to the ears of a cow. That is why it is also called Gokarni. Beautiful blue flowers come on some of its vines. Due to which it is also called Vishnukranta. Its flowers are 2 inches long and one and a half inches wide. Its flowers are very beautiful and attractive and due to this many rich and fond people spread this vine on it by making a canopy in their flower garden. On top of this, there is a flat bean like pea bean. From which black seeds like urad emerge.
Some of the present-day doctors consider black seeds and seeds of Aparajita to be the same thing. In Tamil language, the same name has been used for both Aparajita and Kala Dana, but according to the author of the Ayurvedic dictionary, these two are different things. According to their opinion, the color of the black seed is rough and black, on the contrary, the color of the seeds of Aparajita is black and the color is smooth.
What is Aparajita?
